Our Nature walks used to be an informal option for friends and other people who wanted to know more about nature and less about the Bushcraft and Survival aspect. They have proven to be quite popular so we have added it as an option on the courses page.
Nature walks are either half a day or a full day and are generally hosted in nature reserves in the south east of England just outside of West London.
On these walks we show you some unique and ancient tree’s with some history and information of their uses and mythology. We look at animal tracks and signs and how to identify the animals that left them behind, even how to follow the tracks so that you might see the animal it’s self.
We teach you how to identify the tree’s, plants and animals that we see and point out some natural resources of interest.
On a full day walk there is also time to look at finding water and making it safe to drink and depending on the location, creating fire from sparks.
It costs £40 per person for a half day and £75 per person for a full day. Group discounts are available.
